Wang Xiaohe is an orphan girl living in Shanghai alone, running a laundry shop. She saves the boy she has a crush on one day, and is mistaken by his family to be his fiancee. While the boy is in a coma in hospital, she is welcomed into this big warm family. There, she meets Zheng Tianchou, the cousin to the coma boy and the chef of the Zheng family restaurant.
