Imeniny
Victor, a young artist, arrives in the village to formalize a local club for the New Year. Mishka, the owner of the club, meets Victor and takes him to the house where the room is rented. Sympathy arises between Victor and the daughter of the owner of the house, Tatiana. Mishka, madly in love with a girl, sees this and out of jealousy tells Tatiana and the whole family that their guest is a patient of a madhouse, and informs Victor that the whole family is "with certificates", and "grandma spent her whole life in a mental hospital." But the deception is inevitably revealed.
