Histeria
"Hysteria" is a one-take in real-time feature film that tells the story of MARINA, a middle-age woman who after a past traumatic event has become incapable of recognizing her emotions, and is neither able love or be loved. Hoping to regain some of their lost relationship, Marina's partner, Martin (40), takes her to an isolated cottage in the forest to spend some days together. He strongly believes that he can help Marina reconnect with him, and obsessively challenges and forces her to perform some psychological exercises that she finds unbearable. He desires the expressive and passionate Martina she once was, and repetitively pushes her into declaring her love for him. Unable to hear these words, and in a last attempt to make her "feel" again, Martin proposes to her after an hour of playing dangerous mind games, but this dynamic will trigger a hysteric response in him that will turn them both into fatal victims of this deadly weekend.
