This is the story of how a very young (although already very famous in his circle) Aleksandr Pushkin ends up in what he at first thought was a boring village. Into exile, into captivity. But it is here, in the Russian village, among fields, hills, forests, dialect, songs, books that a miracle happens to him: he experiences one of the most fruitful periods of his creative life, discovering for himself the true meaning and purpose of his gift.
